  1. that shaun rein article is awful. The reasons Shanghai is not challenging Hong Kong as a financial center are that Shanghai is too expensive and the talent pool isn’t there??? Not a single mention of China’s closed capital account; the state of chinese banks; regulation/rule of law…none of those things matter?
