  1. what do you think about the “china’s quiet shift in property strategy” article in WSJ – I dont really buy it.

    • there is no property tax on the horizon. the government now appears to
      have decided that they don’t want prices to go up or down, as a large
      drop will cause all sorts of problems with folks who bought in last 18
      months. so they have effectively frozen the market, intentionally or
      not
